Initial Consultation:
Your journey begins with a 45 minute in-depth new patient consultation with your experienced weight loss provider. Here’s what your first appointment will comprise of:
- We will conduct a thorough evaluation and review your medical history, discuss your weight loss goals, set realistic expectations, and develop a personalized treatment plan specifically tailored to your unique needs.
- We will go in depth on your exercise prescription, to nutritional guidelines, and healthy habits that will excel you towards weight loss.
- We also will cover all the education you need to make an informed decision regarding prescription weight loss medication.
- This visit lays the foundation for your success and sets you on the path towards achieving your weight loss goals.
- Bring your most recent blood work (specifically complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, hemoglobin A1c, thyroid labs.
- You can share a copy of these documents with us through your patient portal or our HIPAA-compliant email.
If you are a good candidate for any of the discussed prescription weight loss medications, your prescription will be sent to a compound pharmacy where your prescription will be prepared and delivered to your home.
4-Week Follow-Up Visit:
Following your first appointment, we arrange a follow-up session in 4 weeks. Here is what you can expect during this 20-minute comprehensive visit:
- We review your progress and refine your treatment plan if needed.
- We diligently track your health and response to the treatment plan by reviewing your activity and nutrition log.
- We address any issues, side effects, or hurdles you may have encountered, and confirm that you are making strides toward your goals.
- If you are responding well to your medications or an adjustment to the dosage needs to be made, we then order your refill at that time.
Quarterly Visits
We want to keep you accountable for all your hard work and help you sustain your results. We advise quarterly consultations with your weight loss provider to continue tracking your progress and support you on your journey. These routine appointments enable us to evaluate your health and progress, adjust your treatment plan if needed, and offer ongoing education, guidance, and support. During these appointments we will reinforce healthy habits, monitor your response to your medication, evaluate your progress with your exercise and nutrition plans, and ensure that you sustain your momentum towards optimal health.
